A successful and an orphaned Venu returns to his own village after a gap of fourteen years. He leaves the village in a huff after having a minor squabble with his grandfather. When he comes back home, he finds that his grandfather has passed away and only his sister Kamala is alive now. His childhood sweetheart Radha, who was always confident that he would return one day, is elated. But, her father Dharmayya is opposed to his daughter marrying Venu, as he feels that the latter is short-tempered. Therefore, Dharmayya tries to fix Radha’s marriage with Inspector Anand. Wicked landlord Bhujanga Rao, meanwhile, wants to marry Radha, and because of his machinations Kamala’s marriage is fixed with Anand unwittingly. As Bhujanga Rao’s devious strategies to marry Radha fail, he abducts her and tries to marry her. Will Radha be rescued? Will Kamala marry Anand? What will become of Venu?
